MICRONEEDLING What is it? Microneedling is the process of using very small and thin needles over anesthetized skin, creating tiny punctures over the top layer of skin. These, micro- injuries stimulate the body's natural wound healing processes, resulting in cell turnover and increased collagen and elastin production, therefore reversing signs of aging, reducing visibility of scars, dark spots and reducing acne. This treatment is performed using Hyaluronic Acid- (HA), also known as, "nature's moisturizer". Most patients require 1-3 treatments, depending on desired result. Some may require more to fully achieve your desired effect, after which, additional treatments can be scheduled on an “as needed” basis to maintain effect- usually every 6 months or so, depending on environmental factors and lifestyle.
